INDICATIONS:
Ofloxacin is an antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone class and is used to treat various bacterial infections. In Pakistan, its indications generally include:

• 1. Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Effective for uncomplicated and complicated infections.
• 2. Respiratory Tract Infections: Treatment of conditions like bronchitis and pneumonia.
• 3. Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: For infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
• 4. Gastrointestinal Infections: Including infections like traveler’s diarrhea.
• 5. Eye Infections: Often used in the form of eye drops for bacterial conjunctivitis.
• 6. Osteomyelitis: In some cases, it may be indicated for bone infections.
